The Bellarine Historical Society's rooms and Museum are located in the old Court House in Drysdale, however the Society covers the Bellarine Peninsula east of Boundary Road in Geelong.

The official "boundary" of the Society was the former Shire of Bellarine, however entries are included for Barwon Heads which was formally adopted into our region some years ago as Barwon Heads' history goes hand-in-hand with that of Ocean Grove.

Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale have also been covered in the town histories, however the Queenscliff Historical Museum is the main centre for local and family history research in the Borough of Queenscliffe.
