The Steiglitz Historical Society is located in the former Catholic Church on the Meredith Steiglitz Road, Steiglitz.

There is plenty of parking around the church.  If you are coming from Meredith the former church is on the right before you cross the bridge / creek.

Some important things to remember when visiting the Steiglitz Historical Society for the GDHA meeting or other events:

• Don't expect to plug in computers etc. - there is no electricity
• Bring your own thermos of tea / coffee etc.
• Bring a fold-up chair - there are a limited number of chairs
• Bring a knee-rug - there is no central heating
• There is an outdoor dunny a short distance away - be prepared for a short walk or go before-hand!

Come along and see the limitations some groups have to deal with while preserving and presenting their local history for all of us to enjoy.
