CLAYDON, Samuel
Noted events in his life were: • Occupation: Farmer At Huthfield, Storekeeper In Mulbring Creek. • Biography. Parker info - migrated to Australia on the "Charlotte Jane", arriving NSW on 8th October 1848 as assisted immigrants. Shipping record shows both Samuel & Dinah were 36 years old at the time, and the 4 children were Dinah - 14 years, Samuel - 11 years, James - 7 years, & Christiana - 3 years. On arrival in Australia, Samuel & his family settled in the Mr. Vincent and Mulbring Creek area, and had 4 more children while there. Samuel married Dinah BUCKLE, daughter of Unknown and Sarah BUCKLE, on 15 Oct 1833 in Kirby-Le-Soken, Essex, England. (Dinah BUCKLE was born in 1812 in Walton-Le-Soken, Essex, England, died on 6 Dec 1865 in Mulbring Creek, New South Wales, Australia and was buried on 8 Dec 1865 in CofE Burial Ground, Mt Vincent, New South Wales, Australia.) |
